Pole Art - Rubber Pencil by h-e-photography Pole Art - Rubber Pencil by h-e-photography
I learnt this move especially for this photo. I was going to use a different style with this but I thought the black and white similar to Pole Art - Split Grip: [link] complemented this image most effectively than a colour version.

Pole dance photography from my Pole Art series.... lot more in my gallery!

You want to know what would happen if I tried doing that? I would slowly slip off and onto the floor where I would fall on my face. -_-

If only I could do that.

This so cool even though i'm awestruck i parcially find it strange (not trying to hate please dont think im giving hate) this wonderful and i can imagen the person trying to hold this pose and i like the black and white effect as well because it captures the image. It gives it a "old time circus" vibe

Congratulations on the DD.

I've researched pole dancing/fitness a lot lately and really wish I could have tried it, but there is just a few places in Sweden who has pole fitness classes and there are miles away from where I live. I still find it one of the most interesting forms of exercise, despite all the preconception. It's both great training and can look so beautiful when captured in the right time.

I like this picture. I like the simplicity over something as difficult. Even though one can see the tension, both in body or face, it looks somewhat relaxed. And for some reason I really like the detail of ballet shoes. I've mostly seen people do pole fitness in either high heals or barefoot, but this adds to a beautiful picture, maybe because of the black and white color. It all just seem to fit well.

And as always, DD picks deviations that are basically just women being sex objects (ever seen a picture of a guy this suggestive make DD)? Oh so sorry, I forgot, this is "art," how dare I speak up.

All of us are happy to feature male nudes, fetish, glamour, and anything else, and do regularly :)  And we also welcome suggestions at any time - if there's a male photo you'd like to see featured, feel free to send it to the appropriate volunteer!

I've seen guys in fetish art and glamor portraits getting DD's all the time, not that those or the one's featuring women are treating them as sex objects.
It's really gross you'd assume and image of a girl in any pose remotely sexual is treating women as sex objects. This in particular is not even close to a sex object, more so an expression of beauty and strength. Pole Dancing is an art, it requires a lot of talent and practice and is not just to get a sexual rise out of people.
I don't have a problem with people "speaking up", but I do take issues with the gross assumptions that sexual expression in art or pole dancing in art is treating anyone as sex objects.

You know, I do often see DDs that are just women being sex objects, but I don't think this one counts.

It's in the details. She's wearing ballet slippers rather than the stereotypical stiletto heels, and her hair is in a bun. To me, that says "performance art" rather than "strip club". Her posture and expression also express athleticism, and it wouldn't surprise me if her lack of clothing is just to help with gripping the pole. (Bare skin grips polished metal very well.) About the most suggestive part is her lacy panties.

Though pole dancing is best known as sex entertainment, I can see how it qualifies as gymnastics, and how it could be practiced as such.

I don't see how anyone could view this picture as a woman being a sex object. This is obviously an athlete who is showing off her skills. What's objectifying about that? That she is practicing a form of exercise where you use a pole? The lack of clothing which is significant for getting a good grip in this certain form of exercise? Both reasons seems quite stupid to me, so either explain why this is objectifying or crawl back under your rock.
